ATTN: ALL CARROLLWOOD VILLAGE HOMEOWNERS
The three Associations have arranged to host a meeting for concerned residents regarding the attempt to rezone the property at West Village Commons shopping center for a charter school. This will undoubtedly have some impact on our traffic situation although at this time it is unclear what form that impact will take. We have secured a date of Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Carrollwood Cultural Center’s Community Room upstairs through the door and left to the end of the hall.
Michael Horner, who is the applicant’s representative, will be on hand to answer the questions of residents so that they may be better able to decide whether or not they support this change. I have attached the original Zoning Hearing Officer Letter of Notice. If you can distribute this as well that would be very much appreciated. Please let all of your neighbors know of this meeting. I will be posting the Letter of Notice on our outside bulletin boards and on our website.
The formal meeting will be downtown and will take place on Monday, June 19, 2017 at the Board of County Commissioners Boardroom located at 601 E. Kennedy Blvd., 2nd Floor at 6:00PM. It will be important to attend this meeting if you are opposed to this usage change for this property.
